My starting point is always nature. Images are then simplified to reveal the bare essence of line and form which is recreated in my ceramics.

My aim is to capture the feelings and emotions I personally experience, through my work. It is often the words left unsaid which have more meaning.

I love to create large open bowls by throwing on the wheel although some of my larger pieces are produced using moulds.
