Ella Massingberd

Ella is a ceramic artist working and living in South Brent, she produces slab built organic sculptures based on the 'wavy' formation of kelp.

Each piece is then Raku fired using a slip resist technique with inscribed detail. Thus producing very individual pieces with the pattern being within the surface of the clay rather than 'on' it. Beautiful as either an individual sculpture or entwined as a group.
