Alex lives in Saltash and has been painting full time since 1998.

His work consists of traditional local scenes and contemporary paintings which have been shown in galleries in the UK and the USA.

His contemporary flower paintings have a strong graphic style which is influenced by his interest in photography.

He prefers to work in oils, building up his pictures with many glazes to achieve subtle shading and depth of colour.
